Meng'international'kan diri...hmm
|
|
assalamualaikum wbt...
so here i list down my international involvement after 4 years in Ireland..
1) involving & organizing 4 times Islamic Awareness week (including once Islamic awareness month) 2004-2007
2) organizing international trip to S0outhern Spain through Muslim Youth Society
3) organizing talk by renowned and controversial Muslim Speakers eg
Yvonne Ridley, http://www.yvonneridley.org/bio.php
Azzam Tamimi,
Yusuf Estes,
Ibrahim Shadjareh,
Shabir Ally
Ziaullah Khan
[/url]
4) 4 times One Day National Fast (ODNF) having raising more than 5000EUR for the first time it was launched...
5) FOSIS Conferences
i never could have achieved all these, without the will of ALLAH (alhamdulillah) and as well my exposure to such activities back in KMB.. miss those days ...
(among things that i enjoyed the most were [back in KMB]
1- Comparative Religion : Lectures & Practical (masuk taman2 kat banting tu )
2- Glass painting for Recycling Club Fund Raising at Sunway Pyramid (huhU~~)
3- Kem Ibadah untuk budak sekolah rendah
4- Committee for Minggu Penghayatan Islam
5- Pegang Usrah (huHU~ mase tu usrah budak2 sekolah lagi )
6- Pegi usrah tiap2 jumaat
7- Pegi ceramah tiap2 jumaat after bace yassin... (paling best mase dgr ceramah sorang akh ni, accountant, pastu die bawak anak lelaki die sekolah tadika, tp dah hafaz surah al waqiah.. duh~~)
8- Train team netball sek. men kat Banting
9- Main netball utk team banting kat Netball Open tournament..
dll.. yang tak ingat...
saying that KMB's islamic-programmed make you backwardnesses is totally wrong!
i am not 'masuk bakul angkat sendiri' type of person... just to share my personal opinion..
enjoying everything you did (beside academic thing) in the past back in KMB, made me what i'm today and what i've changed in Galway...
bukan salah islamic-programme yg ade kat KMB kalo budak2 KMB tak se'international' mane bile sampai oversea... jgn jadikan islamic programme to a 'scapegoat'...
salahkan diri sendiri!
kalau tak 'izzah' dgn Islam, ape je yang tinggal utk kite?
nak international 'MALAY' kat sini?
emm.. dont think so, they could hardly know where malaysia is on the map!
but if you say you're a MUSLIM... they'll certainly know you!... you're one of those who read believe in ALLAH, follow Muhammad (PBUH) and read Quran..
aren't that INTERNATIONAL enough!!
emm... hoping to write more.. but really have little time in hand ..
insyaALLAH next time in the future...
my three classmates... while away to sligo
abdullah alenazi (kuwait) , saud al azmi (kuwait) and john morley (ireland).. emm international enough...

she is the girl next door
| Quote: | The prototype of the girl next door is often invoked in American contexts to indicate wholesome, unassuming, or "average" femininity; this is contrasted with other stereotypes such as tomboy, valley girl, and slut. She is the female counterpart to the "boy next door." To fall in love with the "girl next door" is an archetype of romantic fiction and a key plot element. Unlike the femme fatale, the girl next door does not have hidden plans of her own, partly because her character is open and straightforward, and also partly because her intentions would not need to be concealed. Unlike the princess lointaine, she is seldom much richer or of much higher social status than the protagonist. The girl next door is most likely someone the protagonist has known for most of his (or her) life, but in the past could not appreciate the depth of her feelings because of his age.
The girl next door is always physically in close range, yet at the same time detached from the male protagonist (she does not necessarily have to live next door). She is the sweet girl he sees everyday, a really great friend, or the perfect girl to bring home to his parents. She is often a virgin. Due to her innocent manner, ......... bla bla bla |
this is the 'crap' from wikipedia when you search 'girl next door'...
anyway, this is hana, a nice, little, cute 'girl next door' that we know..
we know her ever since she was a month old till now.. 2years old..
she love to eat choco roll, and always be honest herself, she'll say 'hana marah' and made a nice-cute-angry face when she's mad, and say 'hana merajuk' when she really 'merajuk. whenever she is, she'll turn her face to the radiator and never respond to anybody..kept saying .. 'hana merajuk'
we find her so cute, lovely, chubby, honest, cheerful, beutiful, playful, and list go on...
just wanna wish her all the best , when she move out to cork on the first week of syawal...
we'll be missing our 'girl next door' so much

Street of Maghribi

my route
street of morrocco
The Kingdom of Morocco (Arabic: المملكة المغربية) (Berber: Tageldit n Lmeghrib) is a country in North Africa. It has a long coastline on the Atlantic Ocean that reaches past the Strait of Gibraltar into the Mediterranean Sea. It borders Algeria to the east, though the Algerian border is closed, the Mediterranean Sea and Spain to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to its west. The border to the south is disputed. Morocco claims ownership of Western Sahara and has administered most of the territory since 1975. Morocco, a constitutional monarchy, is the only African country that is not currently a member of the African Union; it is instead only a member of the Arab League
Rabat (Arabic الرباط, transliterated ar-Rabāṭ or ar-Ribāṭ), population 1.2 million (2005 estimate), is the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. It is also the capital of the Rabat-Salé-Zemmour-Zaer region.
The city is located on the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the river Bou Regreg. On the facing shore of the river lies Salé, Rabat's bedroom community. Together the two cities account for a population of 1.6 million. Rabat is located at 34°1'60" North, 6°49'60" West (34.0333, -6.8333). [1] Unfortunately, silting problems have diminished the city's role as a port; however, Rabat and Salé still maintain relatively important textile, food processing and construction industries; some are from sweatshop labor by major multinational corporations (see Salé).
In addition, tourism and the presence of all foreign embassies in Morocco serve to make Rabat the second most important city in the country after the larger and more economically significant Casablanca.
